Vision Statement
Emanuel Lutheran Day Care is a center that is owned and operated by Emanuel Lutheran Church. We focus on acceptance of others and celebration of individual and cultural differences. This center was developed in order to serve Modesto families with a much needed day care center. We are currently licensed to care for 8 infants (0-12mo), 12 toddlers (12-23mo), and 30 preschoolers (2-5yrs). "By building Christ-centered, positive, trusting relationships, we nurture the spiritual growth of children and strengthen families," (Page 3, ECE Program, ELCA Schools).
Mission Statement
We at Emanuel Lutheran Day Care are here to act on the behalf of the children and families of the community of Modesto by providing loving, positive, developmentally appropriate care for their children. We provide a safe, secure learning environment teaching Christian Faith, acceptance and respect for all God's children, and a love for learning.
Childcare Goals
· Provide support for families of the children we serve
· Teach young children about the love of Jesus and his work in their lives
· Provide a loving encouraging environment in which children feel secure to actively explore and learn
· Facilitate healthy social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth in our children
· Provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences for all children in our program

· Open 7:00am-6:00pm Monday thru Friday
(Closed Holidays & one week for Christmas)
· Full-time childcare for infants thru preschool
· Childcare available 2-5 days per week (Full-time have priority)
· Low child to adult ratio
